Otago University has the unique recognition of being New Zealand’s first ever University. It was founded in 1869. The University offers Online MBA for working professionals and graduates. The Online MBA program offers live lectures on a weekly basis, recorded video sessions and discussion forums that are highly interactive and informative. Otago University is internationally accredited and has earned the accreditation of both AACSB and EQUIS. The course curriculum of Otago Online MBA is the same as the On Campus mode. The course delivery and the program duration are the only factors that make On campus mode different from the Online mode.
Course structure
The Otago Online MBA course structure is categorised in to two phases, Phase 1 and Phase 2. A total of 180 credits are allotted to Phase 1. Students attend the Core papers in Phase 1.
Phase 2 of Otago Online MBA is focussed on Business Projects and Exchange Program of International nature. A total of 60 credits are allotted to Phase 2.

Admission related requirements

- Undergraduate degree from a recognized institute.
- Professional work experience of 3 years.
- Reasonable GMAT score or should qualify in the MBA entry test conducted by Otago
- Proficiency in English.
Professional Consulting Engagement
Professional Consulting Engagement is the Elective option offered to the students in the Phase 2 of the program. The students get the opportunity to work with international clients and experience the business scenario in real sense.

For Domestic students: Sum total of NZ$ 2,186 / 15-point paper and NZ$ 8,744 (professional consulting Engagement fee).
